Right of Withdrawal
Last updated: March 2026
Your Right to Withdraw
Under Article 27 of the Polish Consumer Rights Act (Ustawa z dnia 30 maja 2014 r. o prawach konsumenta), implementing EU Directive 2011/83/EU, you have the right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 calendar days without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period begins on the day the contract is concluded (the day of your purchase).
How to Exercise Your Right of Withdrawal
- Send a clear, unambiguous statement that you wish to withdraw from the contract. You may use:
- Email to hello@ivycv.com
- The withdrawal form template below
- Any other clear written statement
- The withdrawal declaration must be sent before the 14-day period expires. It is sufficient to send the declaration before the deadline — it does not need to arrive by then.
- Upon receiving your withdrawal, we will send you a confirmation of receipt by email.
Refund
If you withdraw from the contract, we will refund all payments received from you without undue delay and in any case within 14 days from the day we received your withdrawal declaration.
We will use the same payment method used for the original transaction, unless you expressly agree otherwise. You will not incur any fees as a result of the refund.
When the Withdrawal Right Does Not Apply
Under Article 38 point 13 of the Polish Consumer Rights Act, the right of withdrawal does not apply to the delivery of digital content that is not supplied on a tangible medium if all four of the following conditions are met:
- You paid for the digital content;
- You gave explicit prior consent to begin delivery before the 14-day withdrawal period expired;
- You were informed that by giving this consent you would lose your right of withdrawal;
- You received confirmation of the transaction (purchase confirmation email).
During checkout at IvyCV, you will see a checkbox asking whether you consent to immediate delivery of the generated CV. This checkbox is not pre-ticked and is voluntary:
- If you consent — your CV is available for download immediately, but you lose your right of withdrawal once the download begins.
- If you do not consent — your CV will be available for download after the 14-day withdrawal period, and you retain your full right of withdrawal during that period.
